Yesterday I did an interview for Defying Shadows on a podcast (details to come when it’s available later this month). I was nervous as hell, and it was really fun. 10/10 experience, would definitely do again anytime.
Today I got an email through the blog asking a bunch of questions about me and my author journey and my book. I suppose now I know what to look for when getting spammed by someone selling “reviews” on Amazon: they were sneakier than the ones who show up on FB and my spam filter. Still, what a bummer. I had a couple people reach out via the blog before DS was published asking me about it because they or someone they knew had been diagnosed, and I was thrilled that it was reaching the people it’s intended to help. This was far sneakier and left a bad taste in my mouth altogether. Lesson learned.
In WAY more fun news, I do have a book signing coming up in the end of June, and I’m looking at getting a few more in various areas in the country to coincide with some travel later this year. We’ll see how those feelers work out.
I also have the topic and preliminary outline for a second witchy book, plus a whole slew of end-of-school/beginning of summer family happenings. I’ll try to touch base as I can, but I may be a bit out of pocket for the next couple of weeks. I hope your own school-year-end and beginning of summer (or winter, if you’re in the Southern Hemisphere) is lovely and as non-stressful as possible!
