I may be slightly frozen, but still here. Just editing. For once in my life I’m on track with the plan I plotted out in the upside-down time during the holidays: the book is editing along merrily, even with the extra notes I come up with at 4am and need to remember to add today.
I’m at Grandma’s farm for a few days, outside of Duluth (or Cloquet, depending on which highway you use to head toward town). The temp outside is a balmy -8F with -30F windchill, so the weather is firmly staying outside and I am not. I came up for a few days to visit, watch British crime shows, hang with the pets, and hear stories. It’s been lovely, but I still need to edit.
Today’s helper: Squeaker.

Watching the latest season of Shetland with Taki. Love that show. What are you watching on Britbox when you aren’t editing?
We got a whole inch of snow in Central Park and I was out to see it before the rains came to wash it away. It’s in the 30’s here so we can still be outside – with an umbrella!
Enjoy your time up North! N

OOH I need to re-up my BritBox subscription. I’ve been watching Midsomer Murders lately, and MI-5, but I hear there’s a new season of Shetland. I really like Annika (on PBS).

I can’t even imagine being in a place that cold! There’s a reason I live in south Florida. It’s a good thing you have the dogs and cats to help you keep warm. Good luck on the book editing!
